Summary

David Coon emphasizes the need for our society to move from an ideology that focuses on economic growth to an ideology of having enough. With the government and capitalists controlling material growth and progress of our country, we see more deregulations to environmental policies and practices that are causing significant damage. David stresses the need for community power that engages people to make changes in the way they think about wheat a way that makes people realize what they NEED verses what they think they want so we become selective consumers.
